Difficult to cut nails

Healthy nails are not just about aesthetics; they’re a vital component of foot care and important for maintaining healthy feet. Unaddressed nail issues can get worse, cause pain, get infected, or even lead to other issues. For example, if your nails get too long or become ingrown, it can alter your gait, which can then cause joint and muscle and back pain.

Healthy, properly trimmed nails and smooth supple skin on your feet also reduces your risk of acquiring a variety of foot conditions, like fungal infections and ingrown toenails, and can ultimately significantly improve the quality of your life. Therefore, nail and skin care for the feet is essential for preventing and treating many foot-related issues.

For many people, cutting their own toenails is a difficult and possibly even dangerous task. If you are living with certain complex medical conditions, experience stiffness or pain in your back or even if you are pregnant, it can be very difficult to cut your own nails and care for your feet. I am trained to assess, diagnose and manage conditions of the skin and nails in a hygienic and safe way to make sure my clients can keep doing the things they love without having to worry about their feet.

All treatments from me are performed using medical grade products and a fresh set of sterilised instruments for each client. The sterilisation process used by me removes and kills all microorganisms such as fungi, bacteria, viruses, and spores. I also thoroughly cleanse your feet with an alcohol based antibacterial, anti fungal solution at the beginning of every treatment, and again at the end of the appointment.
